Afriky Lolo will hold its first benefit reception this week on Wednesday, March 3 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. The benefit includes African food, drink, drumming and dancing. As part of the benefit, a silent auction will be held offering several of our magnificent performing masks. Don’t miss this great event and a great way to make a real difference for Afriky Lolo. Come out and learn West African Dance with master teachers:
Germaine Depry from Germany, originally from Ivory Coast and Louis Pierre from Paris, originally from Ivory Coast. After a successful performance at the Edition Theater on Washington University’s Campus this past weekend, Afriky Lolo is hosting master dance classes this Saturday at West End Recreation Center with Germaine and Louis Pierre. Classes are $15/class. You do not want to miss this opportunity!
